Course Description: Inspirit AI offers an interdisciplinary, project-based artificial intelligence education taught by Stanford, MIT, and Ivy League alumni and graduate students.

Students from grades 8-12 will learn the fundamental concepts of AI and gain a deeper understanding of how AI is used to build ChatGPT and generative AI, fight pandemics, power self-driving cars, and more. Students will learn to program AI using Python, discuss ethics and bias within AI, and complete a group project applying AI to a discipline like healthcare, astronomy, finance, among others.

In the first half of the program, students delve into essential AI concepts (machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, computer vision), applications, and tools with coding sessions and practical labs. In the second half, students work in instructor-led teams on a project tailored to a topic of their choice—such as music, environmental science, or finance—using AI as a tool to make a meaningful impact in their chosen field.
