Course Description: Take your lacrosse skills to the next level! Our summer girls lacrosse camp will focus on high-performance concepts to help motivated players transition to higher-level play. We will cover fundamentals of stick work, individual skills (speed, dodging, acceleration, defensive tenacity, etc.) team concepts, sportsmanship, rules, conditioning, field management 8m and 12m basics, on- and off-ball basics, clearing, fast break, settled offense, slow break, transition defense, settled defense, draws/circle technique and importance of ball possession. Coach Charlie Fager teaches through a variety of games-based instruction and supervised scrimmaging, making the learning process fun and safe.

Coach Bio: Coach Charlie Fager has been a Marin-based girls lacrosse coach for over 15 years, focusing on player development and education. He focuses on fun while teaching essential skills required to compete at the high school level. He is past GU14 Head Coach and Girls Director at Novato Lacrosse, and in recent years was also the head coach at Redwood High School. Currently he coaches high level GU12 players at Southern Marin Lacrosse Club. In addition, Branson appointed him as the player development and JV head coach for the 2024 spring season. He is currently director of the newly formed High-5 Lacrosse Club (a USA Lacrosse Membership Organization). His passion is working with young athletes and guiding them to a rewarding lacrosse experience.
