Coach Bio: Lynn Stein is a local mom and former volleyball champ. In her senior year of high school she was named San Diego Co-Volleyball Player of the Year and was voted to the All American First Team. She graduated from UC Berkeley where she was a member of the Women's Intercollegiate Volleyball Team. The following year she was the program's assistant volleyball coach. Lynn has lived in Marin over 25 years and owns Sparks of Marin Volleyball, where she teaches after-school volleyball classes. She is also the Branson boys varsity volleyball coach. In addition, she has coached at Absolute Volleyball Club and freshmen and JV girls at Branson and Terra Linda High School and middle school girls at St. Raphael CYO.

Her former Cal volleyball head coach, Dave DeGroot, says of Lynn: “Lynn was one of the most athletic and talented athletes I have ever coached. Her dedication, work ethic and enthusiasm were key to her great performances and an inspiration for her teammates. If it weren’t for her career ending ACL injuries, I have no doubt she would have been a USA National Team member."
